Caribbean Cruises - Slice
Of The Tropics
Ponder this; you are relaxing yourself on a white sandy beach and listening
to the gentle waves rolling on the shore. The sun is shining bright and warm,
the sea water is refreshingly cool. A waiter comes along with those delectable,
fruit and rum drinks for you to indulge yourself. You are after all, on your
vacation. As the afternoon sun begins to get too hot, you gather up your beach
gear and return to the coolness of your Caribbean cruise ship, where the sounds
and sights will tantalize you for the remainder of your day. You indulge in
the fine foods and superb entertainment until you drop into your prepared folded
down bed because you just can not handle any more enjoyment, well at least not
until tomorrow.
Does that not sound deliciously decadent? May be, but it can be a definite
possibility with the plenitude of Caribbean cruises that are available. Many
cruise lines offer itineraries to this tropical paradise so you could enjoy
a Caribbean cruise at any time and in any way you like to. The most difficult
part of planning your Caribbean cruise will undoubtedly be in selecting which
of these tropical paradise islands you would prefer to vacation on. There are
a diverse selection of itineraries to choose, and each trip to the Caribbean
islands will offer a different and wonderful experience.
Places To Go
The Caribbean can be basically divided into three sections for the sake of
Caribbean cruises. Eastern Caribbean cruises will have ports of call like Barbados,
Bahamas and Antigua. The U.S. Virgin Islands and St. Maarten, St. Kitts and
St. Lucia could be some other beautiful stops that you may see on an eastern
Caribbean cruise. Voyages will normally start and finish in Puerto Rico, which
will give you the chance to explore this exotic island also. Western Caribbean
cruises may well include ports like Jamaica, Haiti and even Mexico. Southern
Caribbean cruises offer some of the best snorkeling experiences on islands of
Curacao, Aruba, and the British Virgin Islands. This list is not an exhaustive
list of all the exciting and wonderful ports that could be on your itinerary
for your next Caribbean cruise.
When Should I Go
Whilst some people do not like the thought of setting sail during a hurricane
season, which in fact covers pretty much the second half of the year, others
like the possibility of sailing for a cheaper price and would enjoy that particular
season during that time of year. The summer can be a very hot and humid season
to visit the Caribbean islands, which can make it a less attractive choice for
some cruisers. The months of January to May are an ideal time to check out cruises
to the Caribbean, particularly if you would like to escape the cold and snow
at home. A word of caution though, if you sail in spring break time you may
discover that you will be sharing a ship with an extra large number of children,
teenagers and students!
Caribbean cruises are a fantastic way to relax and to explore this area of
the world whilst you only have to pack and unpack once for your entire trip.
Check out and book your Caribbean cruise today, and get prepared to hit those
white sand beaches for a vacation of a lifetime!
